Pedals

Ordered a set of replacement pedals to change out the standard black plastic. Along with a set of white/blue bulbs to replace the very yellow fog light bulbs.

Half way through pedals...

Finished...

About 20 minutes all in.

No pics of the fog light bulbs but they were very easy to do.

Very nice - I orderd these from the factory with my Q3 coming in a month or so. Was there no cover for the dead pedal though? The illustration from Audi didn't show one and the description was too generic, but for $49 I suppose I shouldn't complain...

Hehe, I don't drive bare foot

It's just for looks, although I'm sure it must take at least half a second off the 0-60 right?

No dead pedal cover for RHD cars The LHD cars have a square aluminium pedal cover for the foot rest.

Looks great to me. A nice little upgrade even though no one will really see it but you.

i'd like to see the new fog lights too if you get a chance to show us those in action.

I had an S-line Q5 as a loaner a couple of weeks ago, loved the aluminum pedals so found some aftermarket ones on Amazon from a vendor called Amoco. No drill install. Took 10 minutes for the hubby to put them in. I love them.

No drill? How'd those screws go in - just self-tapping? Why not the same for the dead pedal? There's not a whole lot behind it. They look pretty good though ...

Hex wrench and self-tapping on the gas and brake after removing the OEM brake pedal pad. The footrest was screwed in with a Phillips. They're nice and snug. Certainly not necessary, but I like the look and they are very well made.
