Took delivery of a 2016 Q3 Technik about a month ago.
Love the vehicle but having a weird, intermittent problem.
Three times since taking delivery I've gotten an Oil Sensor warning (yellow oil can symbol with the word "SENSOR" below it).
Shutting down then restarting cancels the warning but it shows up again after a few days. So far this has happened three times.
The dealer checked for error codes and found none. I have another service appointment for later this week.
Just wondering if anyone else has ever seen this problem with 2.0 TFSI engine.

Thanks,
Lloyd Noel

First thing I did was check the oil.
I don't think, though, that it is a low oil or a low oil pressure warning.
If I understand what the dealer is telling me, low oil or low oil pressure would trigger a red oil can symbol without the word "SENSOR".
Right now, my guess is that it is an intermittent oil pressure sensor problem.
Thanks,
Lloyd

iirc, there's an Instrument cluster software update for this - your dealer should be aware ...
