The 2017 Audi Q3 premium compact SUV is on the way to Audi dealerships with a starting price of $32,750, including a $950 destination charge.

The price is for the new Premium entry-level Q3 2.0T with front-wheel drive, which offers buyers many of the standard features that were previously only available on the Q3 Premium Plus model. They include 12-way power front seats, a panoramic sunroof and LED taillights.

In comparison, the base 2016 Audi Q3 Premium Plus is priced at $34,625, including shipping.

The 2017 Q3 2.0T with quattro all-wheel drive starts at $34,850, including shipping.

The top-of-the-line Q3 2.0T with quattro all-wheel drive is priced at $42,250, including shipping.

An optional Sport plus package includes the Sport interior package with Audi drive select, front sport seats and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with shift paddles.

I happened to be at an Audi dealer today and asked what is missing from the Premium. He said no heated seats, no self dimming mirror, no advanced key, no chrome trim and more but by that time I had zoned out. He also said that he doubts that they will ever have one in stock. It seems to me that it is just Audi coming down to the level of the competitions’ base model.
