I think that coding of mirror tilt doesn't have anything to do with the model, it can be done either it's 2012 nor 2017. I have enabled that on a 2016 Q3 also that was disabled by factory.I'm only interested in the 2017. Thanks, Frank

The 2017 is a Q3 my buddy is buying in the Spring. Mine is a 2016.I know, I know, you're only interested tin the 2017 model, but I don't see Audi subtracting a feature from the 2016 when building the 2017.
What trim level is your 2017?
My Prestige 2016 has the dipping passenger mirror as long as the mirror select switch on the driver's door is set to the passenger mirror.....not to the center position and not to the driver's mirror.
So far, it's worked every time....
What is the beta test?Hey Monsoon:
I talked to the guys at Carista and I got into the beta test for their app. I was able to enable the mirror tilt on reverse.
It works perfectly now.
I just picked up a 2017 Q3 Prestige last week and the right side wing mirror does in fact dip down when the car is in reverse...if you set it up to do it and the mirror adjustment knob is set to the right side.My buddy has question about the passenger rearview mirror. Does it tilt in reserve. I know the 2016 does not. He is getting a Q3 in the Spring and we're comparing notes. Thank you, Frank
Our salesperson missed setting it up but he is forgiven as it was a great experience dealing with him.(delivery).I just picked up a 2017 Q3 Prestige last week and the right side wing mirror does in fact dip down when the car is in reverse...if you set it up to do it and the mirror adjustment knob is set to the right side.
