I just received a nice set of snap-in wind deflectors today from Poland. They fit nice and snug and while one is being a bit finicky with the auto close, I think with some time in the frame it will smooth out - otherwise may have to add the included clips. All-in about USD80 off ebay and about 10 minutes to install ...

Hi Roger, it's been a few weeks now how do you like the wind deflectors so far?

I have wind deflectors on my previous car and I really liked them. Just curious, based on the last image, looks like it's a very tight fit as the rubber is pushing up/out a bit?

I saw some on eBay that are using tapes instead. But since the part above the window is all rubber, not sure if the tapes will be strong enough even though they come with some metal clips. Anyone with experience with those on the Q3?

Do they deflect wind noise when window is closed too? Or is it just for allowing you to open window while driving and not get and wind nose? They look great!

I've been in Italy on vacation since I installed them and haven't yet had much drive time with them. They are pretty tight, but I like this style rather than the tape on exterior type. I've had many sets like this over years with BMWs and they usually work well even reducing wind noise with windows closed. When I get back later this week I'll do some testing and report...

Sorry, but I think they are the ugliest thing you can put on a car. Just my opinion.
