Yesterday being the hottest day of the year, my ac decided to not work. It was working perfectly fine until I turned off the car for 10 mins. After returning, the fan came on, but the ac light would not. If I press or held on the ac button, the light comes on, but no cool air. I've tried turning off the fan etc. I had to turn off the car for a minute and then restarted the car and the ac worked again. Did this happen to anyone?

I called the Audi service dept, and they suggest bringing the car in since they have no clue what it may be unless they took a look at it. I hope it's still under warranty since it's only 10 months since I bought it.

Hope they get to the bottom of it pretty quick ... there are a half-dozen reasons why this could happen - to hard to diagnose over the net -

Just got an update from the dealership: it's the same issue, faulty high pressure sensor/system. They will be replacing it under warranty tomorrow, if the part comes in on time.

It was exactly a week ago that my a/c high pressure system was replaced. My a/c stopped working again this morning. The a/c button stayed on and the circulate button stayed on, but only hot air. I've tried turning it off and on, and also restarted the car, but not fix the problem. Left the car running with a/c off for 10 mins or so and everything was back to normal.

The service dept scanned for error code, but nothing was found today. They suggested I leave the car with them for a day or 2. This is very frustrating.

Hmm. I'm hoping I fare better than this. Should be picking mine up later today (I hope) and I'll fill you in once I have a chance to drive it around.

You are right dude, it is especially difficult to draw when it is very hot outside . It become unbearable to concentrate and lost all of the ideas out of my head. My friend advised me to buy air conditioning but I did not understand what to choose .I asked for help in this qualified aircon servicing company which specialised in repair , installation and selection of ideal air conditioning in your home. They did their job very quickly and accurately
