I was curious if the vcd coding is the same as the older versions?

I haven't had a chance to scan a new one and compare, but because of some equipment changes, (e.g. Headlights, tailights, etc) I would expect some coding revisions for 2016 ...

I have done a few of the coding mods on my 2016. Needle sweep, Key fob windows up\down and folding mirrors. If there is specific coding that you would like to compare, I can pull it from the 2016.

gmharle - am I reading that you are confirming that VAGCOM coding works on your 2016?
If so, can you provide what you have done?

It sure will - and for THIS car, 98% of the coding is the same ...the 2% is for stuff like LED headlights and dynamic rear signals which the earlier cars just don't have -

That is what I am saying. Like I said above I did the needle sweep, the key fob to open & close all of the windows and the fold in the mirrors when you lock with the key fob. I also enabled the lap timer. The instructions for these are all easily found in the VCS and VAGCOM Mods section of the forum.
