Audi Canada raised the price January 1 for the first time from $750 to $945. I assume they were not making (enough?) money on it.

I thought I read this service is advertised as a 34% discount for up front payment. It included 4 oil changes, 2 brake fluid flushes, spark plugs at 35k, 2 (?) pollen filters and an air filter. All in all, seems like a pretty good deal and there is dealer service on record.

Although I had wanted to begin doing more of my own servicing again, I would consider this for $750.

That's gotta hurt!
I was told that in Texas pollen is the size of peanuts! No wonder the filters don't last.>:D

Ours was $860 also... but if I remember correctly the dealer knocked a bit off of that for supplier/good customer discount...:D

If people are getting this at the same time as they make their car purchase then I don't think that a $200 is really going to make a difference to most buyers.

It's not at all, it's basically an impulse buy for them at that point. If they had to pay $200 out of pocket... it's not as likely.
