Audi has recently announced that it will be working with South Korea's LG Chem Ltd and Samsung SDI Co Ltd to develop batteries specifically for SUV's capable of more then 500 km per charge, about equal to a tank of fuel.

The two South Korean companies will provide batteries to Audi from their respective factories scattered through out Europe. The new partnership is part of Audi's planned €24 billion investment into sustainable products and technologies. Further details remain unannounced.

So which do you suspect as Audi's first Electic SUV?

I think they might actually go for a larger SUV first. One that would compete with the Tesla Model X.
