Thanks for these - especially in light of a few bits (20 in wheels and adaptive headlights, we in the US don't get a choice to have) ...
I think that's almost always the case, vehicles in their home market always get better features. I'm sure this is the case too when it comes to american vehicles and the american market. Thanks for these - especially in light of a few bits (20 in wheels and adaptive headlights, we in the US don't get a choice to have) ...
Canada gets to order the headlights and 20 inch wheels as separate options.I think that's almost always the case, vehicles in their home market always get better features. I'm sure this is the case too when it comes to american vehicles and the american market.
We in the US get neither ...Canada gets to order the headlights and 20 inch wheels as separate options.

Have another look at Canadian prices... with the plunging Canadian dollar it is even more of a bargain to an outsider. A Q3 now starts at CAD 35,800, which is only USD 25,600 and dropping. I would not be surprised to see some US boys buying here, what with our free trade and all.Aww yes but you lot over there still get loads more "car and kit" than us for the same buck :crying: I look at your costings on cars and weep.....really, but then again we have the Queen![]()
I am not sure of the legalese, ( http://www.ezbordercrossing.com/the...port-a-vehicle/importing-vehicle-from-canada/ says 2.5% at the border) but you can drive here, buy an Audi and take it home. Not sure what taxes you may get at home though. This was hugely popular the last time our dollar was so low, it drained a lot of used vehicles from our market. When our dollar is strong Canadians buy premium cars in the USA at a huge savings.I didn't think our FTA included cars manufactured outside of Canada ...
No way.....it would just depress me too much, my 177tdi S-tronic with extras (much the same as what comes standard in the US) came to approx £36,000....whats that about $54,000 US........:crying:Have another look at Canadian prices... with the plunging Canadian dollar it is even more of a bargain to an outsider. Wow! I had no idea you could pay double. That's what I call holding a grudge to the extreme!! Are Japanese cars selling at the same ratios??No way.....it would just depress me too much, my 177tdi S-tronic with extras (much the same as what comes standard in the US) came to approx £36,000....whats that about $54,000 US........:crying:
