Audi Q3 USA / North American Availability and Release Date

When is the Q3 hitting stateside?

late 2014 is what i heard it to be but there wasn't a specific market mentioned.

A smaller Q5 would be a hit if sold for the right price.

A Wish Come True?!?

I currently own an A3 Hatchback TDI; love the mileage but HATE (did I make that clear...HATE) the fact it's not Quattro. Previously had an A3 Hatchback 3.2 with all wheel drive that was a blast to drive but decided to go for the mileage and miss the performance of my old car in the snow. I'm so excited about the Q3! I've been searching for a vehicle that wasn't as large as the Q5 and was a little larger than the A3 Hatchback. I do hope my wishes will be answered and Audi will offer a Q3 diesel with quattro in the U.S.!!!

Its a real possibility with the AE hatch getting killed in favor of the Q3, so I have to imagine that's going to be a top priority

Makes sense to me, i mean why have both when they both can do the same job and achieve almost the same thing the other does, Q3 will just do it better.

The A3 hatchback was just named world car of the year in New York though. It seems unlikely to me that Audi will kill off a model that just won a big award and sells tonnes for them. I think that Audi will keep both the A3 and Q3 in its lineup. The trend has been towards more and more models, so I don't see why this would be any different.

Amen to that, especially with being an audi enthusiast we just can't get away with a base model.

one of the best in my opinion

It sure is a great system, i haven't tried out any others from other german brands so I can't say if it's the best.

heard some good stuff about Acura's system.
isn't the new NSX supposed to have this or basically the best their AWD system gets?

can't wait for that, going to be the poor-mans R8.
