The two newest entrants into the hottest segment in the league, Q3 and MKC will both be seeking to make sumptuous splashes...

MKC

Wheelbase: 105.9 in
Length: 179.2 in
Width (excluding mirrors): 73.4 in
Width (including mirrors): 84.1 in
Height (without options): 65.2 in
Track width (front/rear): 62.4 in/ 62.5 in

Q3

Wheelbase: 102.48 in
Length: 172.63 in
Width (excluding mirrors): 72.1 in
Width (including mirrors): 79.48 in
Height: 63.3 in

You know I actually think the MKC falls between the Q3 and the Q5...

Q5

Wheelbase: 110.5 in
Length: 182.6 in
Width (excluding mirrors): 74.7 in

MKC

The Audi Q3 looks like an Audi, and that is both its greatest strength and weakness. If people like the look of an Audi then they will like the Q3, but if people are looking for something different, the Lincoln MKC seems like a more interesting choice.

I do wonder how they compare as far as how they drive. I would think that the Audi must have a leg up on the Lincoln as far as how it drives.

I don't know, they both make similar propositions. AWD CUV's based on FWD only subcompacts...

I remember reading an article a while ago that talked about how Audi was going to try to differentiate their models more. Right now they all kinda look the same. Hopefully when they start differentiating them, it also makes them a bit more exciting. The only Audi that seems unique to me is the TT. Everything else is just a different version of the same car.

They can't be that exciting since Audi design language doesn't seem to have made many changes over the past number of years.

This is the only one I could find that isn't a sketch. What do you think the odds are that they will build this? LOL

Give it 10-15 years, by then the aliens should give up their secret and we'll be moving around like the jetsons :D
