Spent all day Saturday washing my car in the backyard...when I was just about done I decided to pull it to the front but by then, the lawn was too soggy. The bimmer was stuck for over 24hrs! I had to dig it out with a shovel...put a brick down as a support for the jack, lift it up, drop in some gravel and wood, drop it down (repeat on the other side under the other rear wheel) then I was finally able to drive it out...took about 4 hours once I got all the materials from Home Depot...Car would not shift out of neutral when I was exiting the car wash and they had to stop the line for me. After the line was stopped, I pushed the brake pedal which allowed me to slip it into drive. Hitting the brakes at the end of the car wash is a big no-no, am I doing something wrong?
