I noticed the epc, check engine, and battery light on when my brake pedal, steering wheel, and shifter locked. The only thing I can do was turn off the car. When I was restarting the car, I was only able to step on the brake about 2mm and pressed the start button. It started up give and the cars working like normal. Called the dealership up and they said it sounds like an electrical component problem.

Anyone else experienced this? Every week I get something new that's wrong with my car. Not even sure if it's worth keeping it.

I really hope this is the last issue you have to deal with for a long time. I have to admit my initial enthusiasm with the car has dimmed a little as well but I do still really enjoy driving it. I had my first problem within 4 days of taking possession of the car, then one day the air conditioner decided not to work. Luckily that has not recurred but most recently, I had the wheel alignment issue.

I bought the car after months of research and numerous test drives. I read all about audi's improved reliability and consumer reports called it the most reliable car of 2015. So far, I haven't been impressed and this will likely be my last Audi. Maybe I'll be surprised in 10 years when she's still driving like a dream. ;)

Is it normal that Audi service dept don't input the problem into their computer and provide a print out for the customer after diagnose? When I had Japanese cars, the service dept would input everything regardless how minor the problem for record keeping. I go to the same Audi dealer and sometimes they would input sometimes they don't. They just took my car and come back mins later and tells me nothing is wrong. Makes me winds if they actually checked.
