I am new in Audi World, I like to customize my cars so here is how my Q3 is right now... I have had it for 6 days, couple of things still to come... so, what do think about it? :D

.....so, what do think about it? :D
I have to admit I'm partial to shiny wheels over dark, but that's just a generational thing....I much prefer to wear white socks, not black, with my running shoes, too.

However, I do like what you've done to the front end....still looks very stock, but much sportier.

The first thing that caught my attention when looking at your pictures was the concertina/razor wire over the buildings in the background....the last time I saw that was in the more upscale neighborhoods of Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras in the recent past.
Overall I kinda like what you've done, but since there's no such thing as an SQ3 (even in Guatemala), I'm not keen on a badge for it. But suppose I'd be even less so if there was, and you just put one on, like SO many M badges on BMWs. I like to de-badge my cars rather than tout something they aren't ...

Btw, welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy our great community - by the looks of things, I'm sure you will -

Thank you for the welcome and for your comments! actually, I bought the grille because of the look, and the badge came with it... like the 'red' detail on it but I feel the same about it not being a SQ3 (and when it doesn't even exist)... anyway, the night after I installed the grille, somebody hit the grille ( I believe somebody in reverse or something like that) in a parking lot and broke it... there's a piece missing!!! So Im planning a painting job for the OEM and will change it back. I'll be updating soon and will appreciate your comments.
You can just say your Q3's name is "SQ3" hehe
Hello and welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your Audi, I think it looks beautiful. A lot of good info here regarding mods in case you are thinking of doing any. Check out some of the garages and you may get some ideas. Good luck and keep us posted!

Looks great. I like the grille switch. What else are you planning to do with your Audi?

Glad to have you here on the forum!

Would you ever consider blacking out the chrome trim? Because I think it would look great with the rest of the black you have going on.

I already boosted it to 260hp (ECU) and cant wait to get the H&R springs to lower it!! The package is delayed but hopefully in a couple of weeks I will have it ready!! >:D
Just out of curiousity, I talked to someone about tuning the engine and he told me it would only increase the HP only by about 40-50HP. How did you get your horsepower increased that much?

BTW, Love the blacked out wheels. That's my next project.

If that power increase is done to the effect that it impacts some lower power band, then we could really feel it and enjoy it for the type of driving most of us do.

The CCTA engine can be tuned to easily 300+ hp, and if you want to invest in a new turbo/exhaust - even more (~350-400). Just depends on your pocketbook and level of acceptable risk (to reliability, etc) ...

I think the key words being "invest in a new"... To get more than a 40hp bump you're going to be looking at more than JUST a tune, time to start buying parts to go along with the tune. CAI, downpipe, turbo upgrade, etc.
...but of course - >:D

Hello Again! almost a couple of years later! let me tell you how my project goes (almost getting 350 - 400hp!):

Upgraded Intake (picked REVO), AWE custom Intercooler, supersprint catback, Downpipe, REVO K04 Turbo upgrade, 20" wheels, Lower springs, AP brake system, the custom made remap (Revo stage 3): they started working on it for my ECU, but a couple of days more... and it will be done! (About 360Hp!)

And that´s how it goes... cannot complain!! >:D

Sounds good. I'm jealous. Enjoy.
Which AP brake kit did you go with? I wasn't able to find anything Q3 specific. Did you adapt another kit to the Q3?
