Picked one up last Saturday for the wife; she loves it! I purchased the Carista APP and OBD2 piece, was hoping to get the power fold mirrors to work when locking. Instead we've been using the knob inside to fold them in. It's a Prestige Quattro, fully loaded. I'll debadge it soon and thinking of the SQ5 style wheels 21"

DampDuffer - kinda close, Santa Barbara. I kinda miss the Bay Area, we were in Los Gatos for about a year.
Mods thus far - Folding mirrors on key fob lock, gauge needle sweep at startup, and fog lights illuminate on the side when turning. This weekend is the debadge session.
One thing to note - last night I was driving it and there was a loud whistling noise from outside the driver side window (while it was rolled up). When rolling the window down you can really hear it. Taking it in on Tuesday and we'll see what they say...

What exactly did you order? Is it different than the Ross-Tech item in the VCDS section?
Very true and something that I have noticed to be common enough, replacing the seal with one manufactured at a later date might help but that depends if the whole batch of that seal is bad...we might be seeing more.
localbrew, so you did the folding mirror mod from the Carista device/app? If so do you know is it the same as done through the Ross-Tech cable?
You lock the car from the remote like before and the mirrors will fold? And they will unfold upon unlocking the car or upon starting ignition?
This is my most desirable mod to do, but paying close to $300 for the Ross-Tech cable seems too expensive to me. So if the Carista can do that it will be perfect for me.

There are less expensive options but I didn't want to screw around with compatibility issues etc.
Then you must purchase the PROAPP which you do once you have downloaded the Carista App. I think it was $19.99 and the OBD2 was $39.95.
Yes, it's just much more intuitive with Carista. It's a simple click of Enable/Disable.

I haven't done it myself yet as it requires the Ross-Tech cable (but I am hoping Carista can do it). From what I read, the hidden menu opens up a few more things you can tweak right in the MMI screen. For instance, showing the current battery level and engine oil level...etc.
