Have you been told specifically that you are not going to be compensated for the model you have? If so, was a reason provided? It would seem odd that you wouldn't be if you have an eligible car.

I bought a brand new Q3 nov 2014 and I now feel I have redress for some form of compensation due to the emission scandal.

I believe that if you have an affected TDI engine, then you would get a notice in the mail just like a recall notice.
This first post from this user seems & feels like trolling.
Either trolling or possibly misinformed but I'm curious to know where he's located to see if his Q3 has a TDI.
Would depend on if he lives in North America or Europe.
