Yes. Just adjust the passenger mirror to the desire position while having the car on reverse. It will go back to the original position when you start driving foward
BUT - you must leave the switch pointed to the right side mirror for it to engage in reverse to the same dipped position next time ... If you return the switch to the center position, the next time you select reverse, nothing will happen.Yes. Just adjust the passenger mirror to the desire position while having the car on reverse. Ignition on, e-brake nothing ... BUT, if you have a Canadian car, this may need to be 'allowed' in VCDS...So, the ignition must be on? Also, does the emergency brake have anything to do with the setting?

If you just put the switch back to the passenger side, it should recall where it was last set. There is a setting in VCDS to allow/disallow this function though -So I guess this is the reason why I have to reprogram it every couple of weeks ???
First, have your passenger mirror set to where you want it when moving forward. THEN put the switch to the passenger side, THEN put the car in reverse - THEN adjust the mirror to where you want the curb view - usually down and maybe a bit inwards. THEN leave the switch at the passenger side - and when moving forward (at about 5 mph or more, same for rear-view camera turning off), the mirror should return to its first setting -For some reason, I can not get this to work... I turn on the ignition, put the car in reverse and set the passenger side mirror to the curb but, nothing happens (I leave the switch point on the right) when I put it in drive or try to park. Any suggestions?
I think so, but as noted above - it may need to be activated or allowed in VCDS first...Does every Q3 has the mirror dip-down option?
I also have never made it work.![]()
