I ordered an Infotech Ultimate folding Sun shade and I have no idea what they sent me but it doesn't fit at all. I'm from Arizona and its a really needed here. I'm having trouble finding them in general for my Q3 Quattro. Does anyone have another recommendation?

I ordered mine from here...Same type as what I had on my BMW. Folds into case. Not as small as the ones you roll up but I think it looks nicer and lasts longer... It's pricey though...

Mine should be here this week... I did spend the extra $6.99 for the cover just so it would keep it from getting damaged when I wasn't using it

I bought the same one from carID and it fit's fine, but appears to be out-of-stock on their website. I'm wondering if they just sent you the wrong one by mistake. It is a very tight fit. I have to remove the bracket for my radar detector to use it. I live in Texas, agree with you these are important in hot climates.

Does it have gaps on either side of the sunshade? That is the problem I had. If the sun's beating into the car it's still going to heat up the inside if there are gaps like the sides and the rear view mirror.

Hi Amill,
No gaps. It's really snug and has little wings at the side that block cover the curve on the sides. I think they sent you the wrong one. Picture attached. It is thick cardboard with the silver reflective stuff on one side, and it came in a carrying case.

Can you send me the link for it? I'm very curious if they did send me the wrong one. I had to argue with Covercraft to get them to accept the return and not pay for return postage. I was very disappointed.

BTW, your floor mats from Walmart are not as cheesy as my floor mats with the clear vinyl you get from the hardware store under my cheapie winter mats...

I bought it from CarID. When I click the link now, the page is 404. I attached a screen capture of the description. In other news, I finally got a notification that my floor mats made it from Spain to New Jersey so I'm hoping they'll be in my car this week.

Okay, this is weird. I went on the Car ID website and there isn't a sunshade from Info-tech for a 2015 Q3. I know you got one for the Q3 because it shows on the information picture you sent me. Do you have a part number by any chance? I also tried putting the car info in to see if the sunshade came up that way but...nothing...I'm puzzled...

Check other selling platforms, on them you might find the information you're looking for, selling platforms such as Amazon, AliBaba, eBay.

Answer: Car ID does not have everything they carry on their website...FYI Coolcarshade.com has the same sunshade with free shipping and if it doesn't fit they'll have Info-tech custom make another to send out and give you a return label for the one that doesn't fit...

I know sunshades aren't a big priority for most people but in the summer when it gets really hot in New England the difference between getting into a freakin hot car where you can't touch the windshield and the leather seats are burning and getting into a hot car that's not freakin burning is worth the $60 for a sunshade for me...

I got mine from Auto Anything, the $60 premium folding kind. It did NOT fit. I live in AZ and its a necessity so I just kept it for now but its a pain to put in and has gaps on the side. I don't mind paying but I expect it to fit. I noticed some sites have different shades for the FWD vs Quattro versions as well as the Prestige vs PP+ versions. Does anyone know if they really different? A lot of times you go on these sites to order them and they are out of stock, such a hassle.

If you can return yours I got mine here...https://www.coolcarshade.com/contactus.sc

I haven't received it yet BUT the very nice gentleman I spoke to told me if the Info-tech does not fit they'll send me a label to return it AND I can measure my windshield for them to make me a custom shade.

I should be getting it very soon I hope... 87degrees and very sunny here in New England today... could have used it...

I bought the Intro-tech Custom Windshield Ultimate Reflector Sunshades part #AU-63-R from CarID. I had the 2015 Q3 as a loaner until the 2016 came in. The shade fit both models like a glove. Of course there is a little gap by the rearview mirror, but without that, you wouldn't be able to fit it over the MMI display screen and under the rearview mirror.

Maybe if you had the fold down MMI screen it would fit better?
