Have a brand new q3. Doors unlock when I put car in park. Nothing in manual. Nothing in dashboard - I'm going crazy having to manually lock the car because I'm not always ready to exit car.

We really do have some interesting stuff here - Meanwhile, I think that this function may be able to be changed within VCDS or VAS (at your dealer) thru coding of the Central Electronics Module - Ask your Service Manager about it - and let us know how that goes ...

I think it's been resolved that's the reason no replies are made after it. I also faced the issue a month ago and dave's locksmith helped me out with the issue.

Not sure if Q3 will have it in the same place as Golf MK7, but here's the procedure that I've used some time ago in VW:

Module 09 → Security Access → Code: 31347
Module 09 → Adaptation → Access Control → Autounlock NAR → active / not_active
