Why would you want to? They dim for a reason, to make the DI more visible to oncoming traffic, if you keep the DRL at full power there is the possibility traffic will not see your intention to turn.

DRLs (LEDs) Remain on During Turn Signal :

[Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] -> [Byte 15]

Bit 3 - Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) inactive with Turn Signals active

=> Uncheck Box
Esc or Exit
Transfer Coding

In most of the RoW, they do not dim - the amber wavelength ensures visibility fine, but the US DOT seems to have an issue with two adjacent lights one on, and one blinking - although they allow it for rear signals and brakes - even and especially the SAME color -

I've looked at them head-on and don't think the absence of the LED make any difference to the obviousness of the amber turn signal -

They dim for Europe........not sure about SE Asia/Australia though.

I would have thought they did as it's an added safety feature, if it makes the DI any more noticeable at all it's surely worth having it there?

Germany they turn off as in the US, in UK they dim.

This is a frame from Germany, the Q3 is indicating to turn right into a parking space.

Interesting to know that's changed - also interesting is that I cannot see the turn signal lamp , which I thought for the facelift was an amber color of the LED DRL - must be in the blink of the blinker, or wink of the winker ...

It is, otherwise you would not see the DRL off.........
