Hi- I am new to this Q3 forum. Not new to Audi. I've driven Audi's since 1989, and been a huge fan. Until this weekend. I was driving on the freeway, about 60 mph, warm day(91 degrees) and my sunroof exploded while I was driving. The screen was not engaged. As glass rained into the front and back seats, I pulled over and called 911. This was a very bizarre and dangerous experience. The car is now at the Audi dealer, and I've followed up with a phone call to discuss. No response yet. I was cut by shards of glass, and it was lucky no one else was in the car as large glass shards were everywhere. Consumer reports from last October references issues with the 'panoramic sunroofs' and the explosions - and it is an explosion, citing that no one wants to take responsibility for this- design flaw, manufacturing flaw, engineering flaw, etc. Anyone have any input? Thank you.
