Possibly something for Roger?

I need to get the part number for the steering wheel in my car, then find other cars that use the same part number, then find one of those cars that has the flat bottom wheel as an option.

I'm guessing the A3 might use the wheels?

Our of interest, do you guys get the 3spoke sporty paddle wheel?

The flat-bottom wheels (or more really, any steering wheel off a current car) will fit just about all current cars - you need to be more careful of your airbag, as there are a few different types (single vs. multi-stage, black ring, vs chrome ring, etc.) AND the switch compliments are all different. Then you have to choose between smooth, smooth with contrast stitching, partial air and full air leathers. If you are really nuts ($2-3K) you could pick Alcantara too.

Paddles come in three flavors these days, black, chrome (matte) and extended chrome - larger ones. They can be fitted to any flat-bottom wheel like the switch packages. They start at about $100 for black and each increment above another $100.

NAR cars can get the three-spoke paddles mounted wheel in the Sport Package - I got one for sale if anybody's interested - PM me. It's PlugNPlay ...use YOUR airbag (they're a PITA to ship).

THAT wheel will prolly work perfectly (the switch compliment for MMI-high, which I think you have) - AND you can transfer your paddles and airbag. That's a partial-air wheel - a nice one, and you can buy a new badge for the bottom that says about whatever you want, from RSQ3 to R8 to even just a plain black one if you like. btw, that's also not a bad price, but I've seem NEW ones out of Romania for €380 - a virtual steal -

The whole ordeal to switch wheels will take you about 30 minutes - although fishing the wiring for the paddles may another 15 minutes -
