Don't have the manual in front of me but does anyone know if the Q3's front defog (set to windshield or Windshield+ feet) setting automatically activates the AC?
Or do we have to do that separately?

Just confirming cause my GTI, it comes on automatically (at below 32*) but I want to say I noticed the Q3, you have to do activate windshield defogging with AC separately.

yes it does - and it come on at max fan speed automagically too - which you can then adjust down a bit if you like while the AC and direction stays on Defog -
