Hello everyone

I've Steve from Vancouver BC and yesterday I took ownership of my Q3.
Been a long wait having ordered him back in October.

Its has the Teknics package which means:
Bose stereo with LED lighting
Power tailgate
Side assist warning
Parking with rear camera
and probably some other doo-dads I can't think of just now.

Its Monsoon grey with black leather interior and I'm very pleased.
Sorry to see my sprint blue TT SE go but you've gotta spread the love.

I have not placed an order yet but I would really like to know what you think of the Bose audio system in the Q3. I am generally not a fan of Bose products but I have never heard a Bose car system and I wonder if it really is better than a stock Audi sound system.
Is the music clear, detailed, does it make you want to turn it up?
Looking forward to some comments when you get a chance to play with it.

I can honestly say I LOVE my bose speakers. The music thru the radio is good, the music thru my iphone, ipod, SD card is great. I think it was worth the upgrade. I have my music SO loud I can't even hear my horn when I beep at someone! I know I could have had one put in for much less but I'm pretty happy anyway.

X2 on the BOSE!!! Nice sound!!! A little different sound than the Bang & Olufsen in our A5 but really both are top notch. That being said though I'm 60, always loved rock & roll, and my hearing has lost a few DB's over the years...

BOSE vs. the standard system though... If you like music go for the BOSE!!

I had a Bose system in my '98 A4 and my '06 has the standard system. While the standard system is pretty good, the Bose was certainly cleaner and more musical. Vocals especially were more defined.
For my coming Q3, it'll be the standard system as I chose not to spring for the Prestige Package.

Welcome to the forum! I'm originally from BC (Chilliwack). Been so jealous of the weather you guys are getting out there this winter.
