Hello all. I ordered a Cuvee Silver 2016 Q3 FWD Prestige with wood inlays and sport package at the beginning of June. I wanted a 2015 and had ordered but the dealer came back and said that I couldn't order a 2015. I am coming from BMW (328i) and have also had a Mercedes (C230) so I am excited to try Audi. I loved the luxuriousness of the Mercedes and the performance of the BMW so I am hoping for a nice balance. I was told a couple of weeks ago that my car would be arriving this weekend but it was quickly changed to the middle of August. I wasn't expecting it until September so no worries when it gets here it gets here.

Thanks everyone I hope the color is nice I saw it on an A6 I think and I thought it was a really nice color. I chose the black interior. I would have liked the beige but that wasn't an option and I wasn't sure about the chestnut brown.

This weekend moved to mid-August is a kinda big delay, but its good that you aren't in a rush or anything. Why did you want a 2015 instead of a 2016?

Yeah it is a big delay and I am not sure when it is really coming. I don't know where he was getting his info from but he must have read something wrong. I thought that was really fast though. I wanted a 2015 because I wasn't a big fan of the grill change for the 2016 but it's growing on me lol. Also the price was a bit of a shock because I was told it would most likely be a couple hundred dollar difference but I am hoping all the upgrades will be worth the couple thousand dollar price hike.

Did you at any point consider the GLA over the Q3?

I was actually quite impressed with what MB did with the GLA!

When I first started looking I considered the GLA, X1, and the NX. I compared the price and the options and for me the Q3 came out on top. I like more of a classic look for a SUV. I haven't taken a liking to the futuristic look that a lot of companies are going towards. I did see what the 2016 X1 will look like and I do like the changes they made.

If I could have ordered Cuvee on my 2015 I would've AND with the Chestnut Brown - LOVE it. But alas, I have Tundra Brown which is already discontinued, but it is very pretty and unusual. Black will be very nice though, and with Cuvee, the front grill will integrate nicely I think.

This "weekend" from a June order (6 weeks?) would be impossible, and should not have been believed in the first place. The August date is on target with what normal has been - perhaps even a bit optimistic.

You should have a Commission Number by now, and ask your ABS (Audi Brand Specialist) to show you your order in OMDWeb. Where you can see the Commission Number AND your name associated with the order. He should sign you up immediately for Audi Customer in Waiting, where you will receive periodic updates as to the progress and expected delivery of your car.

Additionally, your ABS should OFFER to update you on it's progress WHENEVER you feel the need to know whassup. Look through the forum for several threads and posts on the status of build/ship progress and even the tracking of the shipping vessel your car will be on when it leaves Germany for the trip here ...
