I ordered my Q3 on September 20th. Was hoping to have it by Christmas. From what I've been reading on here, that might not happen.

Hey Herby - first, welcome, second - don't panic - what does your status read about it? Your dealer should give you a report or maybe have set you up in Audi's customer-in-waiting system so you have some idea when it's coming, at least ETAs ...

Hi Herby, I also ordered a Q3 on that day here in New York, and the lease on our A4 expires on 15 December.... fingers crossed!! The dealer is confident we can get it before the expiration as it will ship from Emden early November.

Hey Jodony - welcome to the forum. Have you got a Commission number for your car? Does the status show it ship-loaded in early November? That'd be great. I ordered mine in late July, and it'll be on the same boat.

Apart from a faxed order sheet with scribbled codes and a $1000
check I have no paperwork... I go by the word of the dealer... I will find out how dangerous that is in December!! Mine is PPlus in floret silver and grey interior. Trading in my glacier white A4 Avant which I will dearly miss.

I ordered a Black/Black Prestige w/19" wheels. Dealer told me originally it would be here in December. Now, they say January sometime. Anyway, I started looking at other dealers stock. I found the same car on the lot down in Florida. Talked to my local dealer and they were nice enough to give me my deposit back. Don't think they were to worried about selling my ordered car because these cars are pretty scarce. Got the car in Florida cheaper than my ordered car. They wanted sale by end of the month. Saved enough to pay for my expenses to fly down and drive back. Now getting my Q3 on Monday!!!!!

I've always wanted to be shown a car with a big bow on it as a present. It would be equally as fun to give it to someone else too.

Well Herby, I hope you enjoy your new ride and the trip to Florida! Today I got the great news that my car will be at the dealer in the week of 1 December, not bad considering I ordered it on 20 September. Considering myself lucky to be getting a vehicle that so few folks have been able tp put their hands on.

Not bad at least you will be getting it in time for christmas
