OK, let me start by saying, I have "less than petite fingers" for a woman. I was trying to attach some plastic clips (approx 1.5 inch X 1 inch) to my dashboard to anchor my radar detector cord from the rear of the console outlet to the front windshield. While I was trying to put the cord in the clip the clip flew out of my hand and landed on the dashboard right on the edge closest to the windshield (on drivers side). When i went to pick up the clip it either slid into the space between the windshield and dash or down into the defrost grill. I believe it went between windshield and dash but can't rule out the vent. Is there an easy way to figure out where it went? Should I be worried it slipped down into the dash? I am sure it's going to be big $$$ for the dealer to take the dash off to find it but would do so if it could cause an issue down the road. I have attached a picture of the clip.

you wouldn't EVER want to take off a dashboard of a car unless absolutely neccesary, this is not the case

I am confused by your response, so you are telling this clip down the dashbord isn't something to worry about?

I don't think a plastic clip is worrysome aside from mabye some rattle noise.

Taking down an entire dashboard would be a whole lot of trouble and $$$
