MMI Navigation Plus?

Anyone experience/own an Audi with MMI, is it worth it, why???

The available MMI® Navigation Plus with voice control utilizes a 7.0 inch display and adds a color display to the driver information system located in the instrument cluster. The MMI Navigation Plus features the Audi connect® infotainment system (standard in the Prestige model), which includes in-vehicle Wi-Fi connectivity for up to eight wireless devices for passengers.

Yup - have it two other Audis, and it is easily the best interface out there. The newest one (which we can't get in the Q3 yet) is even better. Check it out in the A3. Audi Connect works really well too - I've used it from Greenville,SC to Sebring,FL almost continuously as a passenger (in a friend's Q5 TDI) and liked it very much - fast and available - reasonable subscription price too...
Are you confident that the version in the Q3 will be equally as good? Any idea what the differences are between the two systems?

A lot of infotainment systems are terrible so if Audi actually has a good one, that is something to be proud of.

From what I can see and touch, the difference between the A3 and Q3 systems is in the input section mostly - the electronics, connectivity and apps seem to be the same. The Q3 has the dash-mounted button set below the CD changer and is of the last generation design, not even having the center toggle joystick of cars from 2011 until present.

The A3 on the other hand has the newest button set behind the shift lever on the console with even the latest scroll pad knob (straight out of the A8), where you can write on its surface with your finger - this is way cool, very user-friendly and intuitive - and easy to feel your way thru without having to take your eyes off the road to use. Overall until the facelift next year (for MY 17, which should include these interior upgrades) I'm pretty happy and have my order in.

I hope they do include that in the next model year along with other car makers.
I'm new to Audi (from BMW-land), but after a couple days fooling with the system in my new Q3, I think its awesome. I really enjoy the Google integration and the nav system is way better than systems I've used in the past. (Toyota, BMW, GMC, Subaru).

Congrats on getting your new Q3.

How long once you placed the order?

Glad to hear, I know BMW's system is known to be the best so it's great hearing your positive feedback about it especially coming from a BMW.

What BMW did you own?
