I have couple questions about the MMI. I hope someone can help me to figure out. Thanks in advance !

1. When I start the car, sometimes the MMI is showing the title page (with the Audi logo, see image 1), and sometimes it start right from where I left off last time. I'm really confused because it may start from where I left off even after 12 hours, and then it may show the title page next time I start the car again even within an hour. Is that normal ?

2. I have the Bose system with a subwoofer, and according to the MMI manual, under the "Tone" menu, there are 5 selections (see image 2). But in my car, there is no "subwoofer" in that menu (see image 3). Is something wrong with my MMI ?

MMI question

I'm a relatively new owner of a 2016 Q3 and haven't paid enough attention or checked everything out enough to answer your questions. However, I did just check my "tone" settings and like you I do not have a subwoofer option even though I also have a Bose system with a subwoofer in the spare wheel compartment (I did check this out). Now I'm wondering if it's even working! Sound is great so I never thought to mess with it. Thanks for pointing this out. I'm very anxious to see an answer!

There is no separate subwoofer control with the Bose system. Apparently that knob comes with the lower end stereo in the Q3. I know...seems odd.

Thanks Weakfish & John for the reply ! As long as it's the same in other 2016 Q3, so I know it's not a defect, I'm fine with it. I did check the subwoofer and confirm it is working.
I still hope someone else can answer my first question. I just want to make sure it's not a defect, or I'll have to take it to the dealer.

You should check EXACTLY where you leave it when you shutdown, as this may change where it restarts from - SOME menu points have an exact restart from where left mode, while some others do not, and always go to the home page (your first one). It just depends on which one you leave from ...

MMI basic and BOSE

Let's see if someone can enlighten me on the subject, just installed the sound system BOSE, starting the radio concert with MMi (not the mmi plus), only I need to encode it with VÄG COM, but I have no bloody idea of how it is configured, so far recognizes me the amplified r but little more, someone with the same configuration as I could pass me your SCAN to be able to copy, I think by what I have read forums that set 47 system of sound and 5F modules information electric. Thanks a lot
