OK, after a good wash. Despite snow earlier in the week and patches still on the ground, it hit the 60's today. Oh Yea!!
Here's Gus! Really want that RS Q3 grille (without the RS Q3 badge) but not too technical about such installations - worried that parking sensors etc might be affected if tampered with....

You'll want to contact guys that have done it already or ask on a thread dedicated to discussion on that, as i'm sure those guys will be willing to lets you know what you need to know.
Don't see much activity here, dropping in some OC. Just got this roof basket installed today, and had the front side windows tinted to match the rear factory tint.

Nice pic - thanks for sharing ...
Where'd you get the chrome surrounds for the fog lights?

Good question - While it is USUAL for Audi to have both chrome and black surrounds for the foglights in these grills - on the Q3 the P/N is : 8U0 807 681A SP9 and ...682A SP9. The SP9 is the designator for the color of the grill and trim rings, and in the normal case is Satin Black with Chrome rings. There is a BMT option for Brilliant Black, which is a Satin Black grill and shiny black rings - typically used with black window trim and black grill trim.

Interestingly THESE grills (for our cars) ONLY show the SP9 color option - and they come with a Satin Black grill with flat black trim rings - The BMT option for these grills does not exist even for RoW cars ... You have to go into the S-line grills to find the optional trim colors even available.

Me thinks he tricked these out himself ...which is kinda cool - as when I built the S-line front for my car, I used the Satin Black grills with Chrome trim rings and like it too.:D

Roger is correct, they are aftermarket, made of abs plastic and stick on with double sided automotive 3M tape strips. They can be found on ebay or amazon starting around $20 shipped. They aren't round, but elliptical, with sculpted sides to match the grill curves perfectly. I think it really completed the look of the front end, the bare plastic fog grill looked exactly that to me, bare, and this was a simple solution. If you search for these, you will run into some pretty gaudy chrome stick on parts, be warned.

Can you please post the link to where you purchased yours...

Thanks!!!
Roger's on the ball, and with an even better price at that. Thanks for providing a link.
Anyone ever thought about blacking out that chrome trim? Because It think it might be a nice way to clean up the front end.

 Er, uh, THAT chrome trim comes blacked out. The last few posts are talking about ADDING chrome trim ...
Hmm. So, I actually ordered some of these before I got my car and found that they didn't quite fit. The chrome rings were the right shape - just a little too wide and, even with the adhesive, pressing one side down would cause the opposite side to pop out of place. I sent them back. I'm curious about where the ones that Ourob0r0s11 used came from as they, obviously, are the right size. If that makes sense...?

Mine weren't an absolute perfect fit, but not what I would consider too wide. They wobbled a bit at first, but nothing that 30-45 solid seconds of pressure didn't hold down. And there hasn't been any lifting or separation since they were applied. I got them off of amazon, not eBay, but they probably came from the same template/manufacting facility/ whatever.
Hard to take pics of Monsoon......not that I know how to take pics. I'm ordering silver Quattro decal for the real doors. I like the look.

Thank you. Monsoon was not my first choice and not even a consideration. Also wanted a lighter interior. But it was in stock. When we pulled into the dealership the Monsoon was sitting looking real good. I like it right away. It's growing on me fast and getting lots of compliments.

Gray is one of those classic Audi tones so you aren't taking any big avant garde jump. LOL!

How about some interior shots?!!
Stay classy my friend! :)
