Need second key fob....any aftermarket ones worth a try

Dealer never told me they only had one key fob until I signed the papers. would have liked having a second before making the final deal but they got one over on me! Anyone know if I can buy a used one off eBay and have it reprogrammed? I know most say the dealer will not program a used one but any one know if thats the case?
