I'm really stoked about getting into a new Audi Q3 tomorrow; I just closed the deal tonight. My first Audi was a '98.5 A4 1.8Tq that I bought with about 10k miles on it back in 1999. That car led me into the whole world of motorsports so I owe a lot to Audi enthusiasts in general and A4.org / audiworld.com specifically.
My first Audi:
I autocrossed and tracked that car for a few years before getting into another German marque that starts with a 'B'.
I did get back into the fold again last year when my son found a cool '90 Coupe Quattro at auction that I was able to pick up real cheap. It is still in 'project' mode however, so the Q3 will be my first Audi driving experience since over 10 years ago.
I bought a Prestige package Monsoon Gray Q3q with black interior. The dealer (Audi Rochester in Western NY) had two identical vehicles and I didn't bother with a side-by-side test drive; I really liked the way the one I bought drove, very similar to one I test drove last week. Nice comfort and stability, I know I'm going to love this vehicle (but I will miss my '05 BMW 325Ci with sport suspension).
Of course, now I'm already scoping out a Touring suspension lowering kit from Tire Rack . . .
