So after the Dieselgate issues, I was forced to get something new for the wife as a DD. Our 2011 Touareg TDI Sport has served us well for the last 6 years as I handed it down to her after I purchased a 2013 allroad for my DD. But...6 years later and 130k miles, it was starting to show its signs of aging as well as a buyback offer I couldn't refuse.
In comes a CPO'd 2017 Q3 Prestige w/3700 miles, complete with the S-line and black optics package in Cortina White with black leather interior. Granted the car's not for me but the wife's happy with it. Of course the VCDS mods will commence, not too sure about adding anything else to it except for a pair of roof bars to haul a cargo carrier around with. Could use a little more power from APR or UM but it's fine for her and I don't want the dreaded TD1 flag, nor worry about unchipping it every time I go to the dealer for service.
