Hi. We took a ride to Fort Lauderdale Audi to look at a Monsoon Prestige w/Black that was not my first choice. Really wanted Red or White with Chestnut or Rock. We pull up and the Monsoon is out front and looking good. We go into the showroom and an SQ5 is staring at me. I start to drool and almost cry. I end up test driving it but realize it is ticket waiting to happen and more than I need but come real close to buying it. Almost flipped a coin. Anyway have been thinking about a Q3 since August and finally pulled the trigger. Thought about a Buick Encore and Ford Escape. Could not find what I wanted from local stock and went back to the Q3. And real happy about my decision. I swore I'll never buy a GM for several reasons. And the local Ford dealers where I live are scary from my from first email to when I went to the dealerships. This is our 5th Audi. They just keep getting better with style & tech. Could use a more HP but not a big deal. My advice to new buyers ....shop for price. Contact different dealers.

Welcome, Monsoon...we look forward to your questions and contributions.

Haha, yeah the cars you looked at are the same (plus others) my wife and looked at, and in the end it was just no contest.

It's really a sad commentary that we haven't owned a US made car for almost 40 years (I think our Jeeps were made in Canada), but it is what it is.....the US automakers still have a long way to go in reliability, appearance, and fun!
I want to apply the Quattro decals to the rear doors. Where can I get them. I'm going to DIY. Also...full body paint protection. Worth it? Thanks, Frank

Your dealer can get the Quattro decals, I think they're about $50 a set, very easy install. As for clear bra, I'm a fanatic for Expel Ultimate - NO others even come close at this moment, and NO hard coatings will prevent a stone chip or self-heal when dinged - I just had my entire R8 covered with it and it looks phenomenal ...

R8...absolutely beautiful. A piece of artwork. Who did the Expel?
Here in Greenville I'd VERY highly recommend Extreme Colors. If you call, ask to speak with Doug- he's the owner- be sure to mention me for a deal. These guys are good - BETTER than the Expel factory shop in TX. For example Expel would put my R8 hood and fenders with 3 pieces, Doug himself managed a perfect single piece. If you come here I'll show you all of my cars done by him ..,
