Having had a 2009 A3, I think you'll find this a very easy and rewarding transition to make! What configuration did you get with your Q3?

Brilliant black, Tecnik with nav. The dealership is getting from 'somewhere' but no VIN yet. Hopefully we'll pick it up in a week.

I'm surprised they cannot give you a VIN if they have a dream of getting it you next week. Where are you? Any/Every ABS (Audi Brand Specialist - salesperson) should be able to locate a car and have a VIN immediately if it exists, and can make a dealer trade - this is normal, no nonsense behavior.

I have no ax to grind, but if your ABS is not doing you right or well, please let me know (PM) so I can help your experience be much better. Believe me, Audi wants that too !!!

I am waiting for my q3 in London Ontario (2 hours outside of Toronto) and have been waiting a few weeks now. Apparently the port in Halifax is very congested (mine is coming from Germany) and they keep receiving different ETA dates. I have a VIN, just wish I could track it. feeling discouraged as being carless SUCKS.

Roger has a very good string on how to track the shipment if you do a little searching... Using that string we knew what ship our Q3 was on, arrival dates, etc.. way ahead of the dealer...
