So I noticed that Audi calls interior lighting package something like QQ1, QQ2, QQ4 etc..

So what are our 2015 Q3 interior lighting called? All LED bulbs as standard for us in NA.

These are PR (Production Record) codes and these for example go from QQ1 - QQ9, with a few variants (like QQ6) just for the NAR. They all mean slightly different things and you have to look at ETKA to get the full lowdown on each. If I have a VIN, I can pull a PR Code catalog for your car and it will describe (briefly) what the car was built with - a sort of build sheet...

You have QQ1. These lights should fit, they're an easy PnP (5 min) - just be careful prying out the old ones and don't yank the wiring too far. btw, you can buy Chinese KOs off eBay for about $5-10 a pair. Just be sure to get the latest (~2013 and up) version as the wiring pins are finer (although many will come with adapter harnesses too). Also, realize that while they will look VERY similar, they could be a bit different and may NOT last as long - but for 1/20 the price you could buy a few sets and just change them out every year or so and still be at least $100 ahead ...

Thank you Roger, so I tried both the Chinese mock and genuine Audi lights. The difference is HUGE! Chinese mock light projects much larger "rings" and also has a red "AUDI" lettering. Also it projects much larger image on the ground therefore, much lower resolution. Genuine Audi lights are smaller "rings" but is sharper and more white compared to Chinese mock.

Yes, the price is on the high side but I really like the sharp image it projects.

I have a pair of un-used Chinese lights that I can send to anyone that wants to try it out... PM your address and I'll send it off for free.

Genuine parts:

Chinese parts (not my vehicle, but the image is representative of what I experienced):

The KOs also use/have a 3D effect for the rings that the OEM ones do not - you're right, they are brighter and sharper, but at 7-10x the price...

Yeah, the price difference is huge. But I'm happy with the OEMs!

As for sending off the lights, a member has asked for them via PM so I will send them out to the member.

Hi, I wanted to get Audi Rings beam as well but the 4G0052133G ref. is not working with the connectors I have in the car.
It looks like Audi USA has only that ref. What should I do ? Is it because I have something different than QQ1 ? Can I order one that fits or find a connector adaptor ? My VIN is WA1EFCFS5FR011136
Thanks for your help !!
