Hello everyone,
I accidentally hit the rear roof antenna with the garage door on my daughters 2016 Q3. The cap/mast tore off but the electronics seem to be in tack and working. I was able to glue the cap back on and seal around it but I rather replace the whole thing. I am a very handy and techy person but removing body panels always makes me nervous. Looks like I have to remove some of the rear trunk area pillar panels so I can access and drop the rear section of the headliner to get to the screw that holds the antenna base. Does anyone have pics, videos, etc on how to remove those? I looked all over the internet and could not find a thing. I rather have proper tech advice verses just pulling on the pieces and breaking something. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

A local shop did my antenna. The repair cost was not expensive.
When you say the repair cost wasn't expensive are you willing to say how much? I did the same thing with my sons Q3,. The antenna lifted and so did some metal from the roof. I'm wondering what it would cost to repair it. All the wires are still intact.

I took my car to the local Audi agent, they quoted me 780.00 just to remove and replace the roof lining the aerial cost would be on top - another 150 quid!!!
