Apologies if this has been discussed but I couldn't find the answer.
I am looking for a simple answer as to how to increase/decrease/ mute the voice on the the sat nav. I can't find a control on the MMI menu items.
Googling, the answer seems to be to adjust the volume whilst the voice navigation is on. Is that the only way?
Thanks for any assistance

I think the only way is to use the right thumbwheel on the steering wheel to scroll up or down while a voice guidance message is playing. I don’t believe there is an individual volume setting in the MMI for navigation. When scrolling the volume thumbwheel while a voice prompt is playing, “navigation prompts volume” is displayed and shows the volume setting for the navigation prompts. You have to do it rather quickly, once the prompt is finished playing it switches back to the “entertainment volume” adjustment.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
I find that a little disappointing for a car like this. One would think there would be a menu item tucked away somewhere.

Thanks again. I will have to move quickly next time I hear the navigation voice.

Thanks for this info. It works! Spent an age going through the menu.
Best to carry this out when the car is stationary. Enter a destination and the first message gives you enough time to adjust the volume. If you need more time cancel the entry and re-enter it from the list.
