This is too odd and may be coincidental, but maybe not.

Came out to my 2016 Q3 today and half the Sirius presets were gone. Not all. Very odd. So I reset them. Then when I went to park, the backup camera in R went to graphics rather than camera. I switched and camera screen was black. Sensor and beeps worked, but no the camera.

Over the afternoon the camera worked maybe 2 out of 6 or 7 times. It did work as expected those two, but the others it comes up in graphics and the camera does not work.

Any ideas? Help?

Started the car this morning and Sirius reported "Updating Channel Lineup". It does this too often in my opinion.

After that Backup Cam worked as expected 4 times in a row. Parked the car and came back and broken again. Could not get the camera to work, only the graphic.

Rebooted the MMI. Took some time, but not one setting lost or anything changed. But NOW the Parking Aid was a new graphic with NO change setting lower right between graphic and camera. And nothing happened when I went into reverse at all!

Turned the car off and restarted. Backup working again.

Pretty frustrating.

I had the same loss of Sirius presets yesterday after the channel update. It is annoying, isn't it? No issues with the camera that I've noticed. Though I'm not quite that old, I did enjoy the 40's on 4 music channel that is gone. Oh well...

Thanks for that. Good to know the presets change was not just me.

Camera has become more intermittent. I am suspecting bad camera or wiring now. I'll check what I can reach tomorrow in the daylight.

OK, cam has worked as expected for three days now. My latest assumption is that when it failed first was after a car wash and second after a day of rain. So I think water had created a short for a little time and now dried out.

If that points anywhere interesting, please let me know what you would check.

Just confirmed after a DIY car wash at the local car wash, the backup camera fails 100%. Must start working again as it dries out. No obvious place where water may be getting in.

The back-up camera is a know issue by Audi. Your dealer will replace the wiring harness. I have not have any problems since the harness was replaced two months ago.

Back with he same issue and updates.

Not related to car washes at all. Now the camera works for months at a time, then fails again and not related to Sirius updates. Will fail for 2-3 days then work again. Opening and closing the hatch, bumps, heat, restarting - nothing seems to affect it.

Any place I can easily reach to check connections?

I was off to the dealer to order the harness and have them replace it and it started working again.

Just brought a 2018 diesel model and the resolution on rear view camera didn’t seem very good at all
Took a Q2 out and the camera was better
Anyone had issues with it
