Ok guys born and raised in Jersey (New) and although living upstate (NY) for the past 25 years, still just 100 yards from the Jersey (New) border.

This is video so true. Cassie and I are retired now so leisurely going to our supermarket of choice this morning, we began to load up before reminding ourselves, this will be over in 48 hours. That said...

It's nice to have food in the fridge, wood for the fire, propane in the tanks and a back up generator. This mountain road has been down on an occasion or two for a few days and the electric gone for up to a week or more. Good feeling to be ready and better yet, snow shoeing is so enchanting into the woods a few feet from our property.

To those of you in the Northeast, be safe these next 36 hours or so!

They were talking 20+ inches. Now not so sure we even got 12.

More like 2" here in SEPA / Philly... And still, everyone stayed home!

Pretty much a dud here. Still coming down lightly but only about 4 inches. Less than the 12 to 18 we were preparing for.

Yep..while we did get 8...they called for 20+.
