Our Q3 started making a clicking noise when turning the steering wheel. Other than that the steering feels normal. You can hear it best from in the vehicle, it is barely noticeable when listening by the driver side front wheel and not at all from under the hood. The vehicle is a 2015 with about 66,000 miles. Has anyone experienced this issue?

Hello, know this an old post but my 2016 Q3 started making a similar noise in the steering column. It's only apparent when the outside temperature is hot (80's plus) and when turning in and out of a parking space. On the road it either does not occur or you can't hear it because of the road noise. I use an independent garage who I trust a lot more than my local Audi dealer. They couldn't reproduce the noise (we're past the 80 degree weather), but thought it might be an issue with the front struts. Their advice was to let it go and see if it gets worse or come back in the summer.

Did you have any success in finding the cause in your case?
