So for those of you who are approaching the 3 yr ownership mark on your Q3 2.0TFSI, have you ever had to go into the dealership for any major engine, transmission, electrical etc repair that was covered under warranty? If so, what was the repair for?

coming up on three years on december 23.

two things I've had repaired UNDER WARRANTY

1. Had the PCV valve replaced about a year ago
2. Had a broken sway bar link but they replaced the whole sway bar

right now I have 31,700 miles on it and I believe the shocks need replacement but everything else nice and dandy

interesting. did you replace those items because a warning light came up?
was there a noise or some sort of strange thing that made you aware of it failing?

Complete battery failure.

check engine light for the PCV valve

rattling noise when going thru potholes as if something was loose underneath.

This city has some of the crappiest asphalt on earth...
