Hi,
Can anyone answer this question?

I have a Canadian 2015 Q3 Quattro with Tiptronic transmission. My next scheduled service is the 55,000KM (35,000 Mile) service. Is there any requirement at that service interval (or any other for that matter) to change the transmission fluid for this type of transmission?

Thanks in advance!

There is no such thing as "Lifetime" automatic transmission fluid. Change it and the filter every 30,000 miles. Make sure you use the correct fluid type, it is best to buy if from the VW/Audi dealer. This Aisin 09G transmission has a history of wearing out the bores in the valve body....

WRONG.

For the Q3:

The 2016 Audi Maintenance Schedule PDF above:
1) Nothing is posted beyond 90K KM for Tiptronic gear box
2) Of course it also just say: Tiptronic gear box: Change ATF (Q5 hybrid only)

For 2015 MY Scheduled Maintenance Intervals:
1) Nothing is posted beyond 175K KM for Tiptronic gear box
2) Only referenced to Tiptronic Gear Box – change ATF is for l Q5 hybrid only

I am not sure what you are saying "WRONG" to....????

The Audi Maintenance Schedule does not indicate an ATF or filter change for the 6 speed Aisin 09G Automatic ("Automatic Transmission and Final Drive").....only says "check for leaks"....but you would be foolish to never change the ATF and filter....

The US and Canadian Q3s do NOT have a "Tiptronic", or "DSG/ S Tronic" or "Continuously Variable Transmission Multitronic"....even though the US and Canadian marketing materials refer to the "Tiptronic" manual shifting feature of the Aisin 09G.....

WRONG x2.

Read this training manual by VW & get back to us :
http://www.evosoft.dk/diagrams/DSG.pdf

Take note of:
page 3 - reference to Lifetime fluid fill
Page 3 - references Tiptronic.

IF you want more info about VW/Audi transmission details see here:
