Looks great!!

by the way, I am having a horrible time with my windshield and windows in general. Seems like anything I use from paper towels to various microfiber towels, leave fibers on the windshield. No matter how much I clean it and how clean it looks, any time I drive into the sun you can see all kinds of sparkly spots. I know I'm not alone in this as I have found various posts on the web about it. I even tried using clay to do a clean followed by window cleaner. Do you experience this? Anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Couldn't agree more! Utopia is really underrated and perfect for a seaside photo shoot.

cable guy, is this the same problem you've been having since last September? At that time you conjectured that it was caused by something on the window surface:

"Ok, here's an update to this "drama". Had my wife drive her Outback into the sun and she said she saw some spots but definitely NOT what she saw riding with me. Then I decided to run my hand over the windshield and I could actually feel the many small spots. So clearly it is something on the surface. I then took the razor blade and began working over the spots and sure enough it was taking them off. Now today I'll need to drive into the sun and see if the visible results reflect the tactile results. I'm thinking this is either a by product of washing the car, or more likely that the trees in the parking lot at work are weeping something onto the windshield."

Yes same problem and not just my Q3. Also on wife's car. So it's something to do with the cleaning process I'm using. I did some web searches and found other's experiencing this. If folks on this forum are able to get a totally clean windshield and not see any sparkly things when you are heading into the mornig or evening sun please let me know your secret! I'm at the point where I'm going to head to a detailer for help.

good one Bob :) But been there done that with 10 years spent in the Portland area. Ya definitely not much of a problem there. Here it's an issue almost daily as I go to work right around sunrise. Guess it might be a good reason to retire soon so I don't have that daily commute into the rising sun.
