Sometimes it may make sense or even be necessary to share VINs to obtain the best possible exchange of technical data and/or discussion. IF you choose to do this and are concerned for privacy of either your VIN and/or any data that may be gathered from having access to your VIN - DO NOT POST it publicly, but rather send a PM to a trusted source. Most folks within the community can and should be able to be trusted :nerd:, but this IS a public forum and such data posted CAN be searched and scanned from outside the community.
