I wiped down both Q3s so they are shiny & clean and ready to drive tomorrow! I also took some pictures of them and posted it on another thread.

Showed off my Q3 to a friend and let her drive it! She came away impressed and discussing how she might get one for herself!

Plus I washed my wife's Q3 and made it perfect again after many dead bugs disgraced the front grill.

Mod Time

Been raining here for the past three days and projected to continue through the weekend so I plan to do the SprintBooster first (scheduled to arrive Thursday) then perhaps tinker with the scan. Even though my pop-up bin parts arrived yesterday the garage is too crowded to comfortably work in so I'll have to wait for sunny and dry weather to attempt that. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the SprintBooster affects performance. So far the slow throttle is my only complaint.

So your SprintBooster is for the 2016 model? On the SprintBooster website (as of few days ago), it said it's for 2012-2015. I emailed them asking whether it's the same for the 2016 but haven't got any reply at all.

Apparently I am interested in getting the SprintBooster as well.

Don't hold your breath for reply, I emailed them three times with the same question. Roger (rnblas) assured me that it should be fine for the 2016.

SprintBooster arrived today so it will be my first project tomorrow morning. Will let you know how it goes with my 2016 Q3.

Yeah I think it should fit 2016 as well, just that it would be nicer if we can get an official Yes from SprintBooster.

I might go down the same path as you by just ordering one to try.

Tell me... What's the difference between putting in the Sprint Booster or getting it tuned? Would the Sprint Booster put up a red flag with the dealer?

My 2016 Q3 Prestige has become quite the Q-ship, it's a time machine taking me back to my twenties and the thrill I had with my first BMW 2002.

There are already explanations on this forum about this - the EXACT differences between SprintBooster and a tune - and NO, SprintBooster throws NO flags and does NOT affect warranty...

What did I do to my Q today......... took a food shopping cruise. Tested out the cross hair setting for navigation destination....... blasted the Bose. Tuned to Real Jazz
and also let my iPhone sounds play. Took the Q3 to the pool room and left it outside until I was finished playing. I call it a good day.
