Just purchased Q3. Looking at sticker. Realized I don't think it has wheel locks. Does anybody else have them?

Yes, we have them on our new Q3, but the car was ordered from the factory, not purchased off the lot.

Sticker price for "Audi Guard wheel lock kit" was USD $105.

I believe this modification was made at the port of entry as they provided a very precise little German box to hold the key and the four wheel bolts that were replaced during the modification.

I don't necessarily park in high-crime areas....I've just always had locking wheels, and the locks are a small price to pay for $1400 worth of tires and god knows how much for the 19" Audi wheels.
OH... this is helpful. I had no idea what that box was for as I thought the wheel locks were not installed yet. I must check this as I did not see one lug nut that looked like it was locked.
The gray plastic caps hide the locked nut. I have them on my 2015 but did not see them as an extra charge for some reason. Btw the key was in the foam under rear cover in front left corner.
I tend to remove them. A crook will break a window and look for the key. Happened to friend of mine.
Interesting...some of the Q's I looked at had wheel locks at a charge of $105. I did not know they are included regardless. huh huh?
In Canada, I think it's up to the dealer. One dealer told me it is an option. The dealer I got my Q3 said they put the locks to every car, but of course it's not free, they will get the $ back somewhere else.
They're NOT included regardless. If you (or whoever) order them you get them - if not, you don't - simple as that. No cosmic mystery here ...

My 2016 Q has wheel locks and they are not on the window sticker. I was sort of surprised....unless the dealer added them to every sold Audi.
That or a port error - be grateful then, free $100 - hope you got the key too ...

If it is mistake I might call the dealer back and ask if I can pay for it.:D However the $105 is going to the pool room today.

I do have the entire kit, key, plastic cap puller and removed lugs. I suggest everyone check theirs and buy a spare key if you keep the locks on the Q.

Worst case scenario you can call up Audi if you happen to lose one, they have good customer service at times.
