Good Morning,
Has anyone figured out how to use the cargo net with the cargo liner installed? I dont think there is a way to use both at the same time... Has anyone else given this any thought...?

I do not want to add cut-out slots to the liner and not really keen on just using one or the other. Anyone have any ideas? solutions?

I do have both, just have to push the liner edge down a little

I/we run the liner all of the time and when we finally got around to trying the net I did not want to have to pull the liner out to use the net, I thought that they should just work together...

Ditto for me - turns out not to be a big clearance issue ...
Roger, A question for you... Maybe I have missed something but the rear mount points are... (trouble finding the words) really down / below / under the liner. Do you just flap the liner up to secure the rear hooks?

Sorry, I really need some more coffee this AM....

Thanks in advance!!!!

We could but that would not make my wife nor I very happy:(

I think that if it were designed a little better there would not be any interference, I really didn't want to go there I just wanted to see what others may be doing..:|

There is not need to make any cuts on the liner. Just push it down a bit. I will post a pic of mine tonight

I LOVE them - and when ordered with the car they were only $40. There's also a larger version that folds up in 2 different configurations - these don't - but these do fit edge to edge (long) just perfectly. I like having them in the car all the time, which usually keeps me from needing to use the net ;)

Thanks Juan!!

Mine do the same, although now looking at Juan's pics, I sorta agree with Joe's observation and concern. I never thought about it before, but could be tempted to carefully trim the liner a few mm. I'll look into it this weekend if I'm not stormin' the North Carlolina mountains for another run at some twisties ...
Thanks Roger!!!

I guess I just assumed the liner would be like the Q5's with those cutouts. Interesting. I'll be watching this thread to see if a clever solution to using both is devised since I don't yet have the liner but am considering it.

I bought the Weathertech liner and also had to push it down for the net too, about the same amount as Juan's pictures. I had the net out the other day to load some pavers and the liner snapped right back into its normal shape. But now I'm intrigued by these bins you speak of and off to investigate that.

Hello everyone, new to the forum. Bought my first Audi, a Q3 in Monsoon Grey with charcoal leather interior, this past weekend. I'm slowly going through the car and manual. I'm having the same problem as most of you in that the rubber floor liner in covering the cargo hooks for my cargo net. Actually, I believe the cargo net that I received is too small because it doesn't stretch all the way without pulling the hooks out of the attachment points. Suggestions?

......Suggestions?
Haha, just hang in there and keep trying. I too found the cargo net was smarter than me for awhile until I figured out there's really only one direction to install the net and it also begins to stretch a bit.

It is/was annoying that the Audi rubber cargo liner does not have notches for the net attachments, thereby making it even more difficult to install the net, but eventually you will have forgotten it was a problem.

My biggest problem with the net is continually catching my golf bag on it when passing it through the gap between the back seats...
